To discuss prices and availability, please call Molly McPhee, General Manager, on 020 7482 8600 or email her at: roomhire@cleanbreak.org.uk
Our studios can be hired out from 9am to 10pm, every day of the week.
To facilitate our educational programme, Clean Break operates a women-only policy in two of our studios during the weekdays from 9-5pm. Studio 3 is open to mixed gender groups at any time, and Studios 1 and 2 are also open to all in the evenings and on weekends. We will work to accommodate your schedule however we can.
Clean Break does not provide parking for general use. There are local time-limited pay and display options in the streets close to Clean Break. Our studios are also very easily accessible by bus, tube and overground (please see contact for more details on how to find us). Please note we do have disabled parking available – please see the next FAQ for more information on disabled access.
Yes. Our studios are all on the ground level with double doors throughout the building. There is disabled parking available: we have two disabled parking spaces, however it can be tricky to arrange access down our cobblestone alleyway – please do let us know ahead of your visit so we can aim to accommodate you.
Yes. We can hire out equipment and do have capacity for photocopying and printing, for a small fee. Please get in touch to find out about the equipment available and costs of hire. Please let us know as early as you can if you will need any equipment, or if you will need to make use of photocopying or printing services, so we can arrange everything for you.
Unless you have made a specific agreement with us, unfortunately it isn’t possible to store any materials in the Studio or elsewhere at Clean Break.
For groups who are rehearsing with set or props (for example) that need to be stored in the Studio over the period of hire, please get in touch with us about this. We can look into arranging an exclusive hire of the space for you.
We would be able to give you the contact details of technicians we work with; you would be welcome to contact them.
We offer complimentary tea and coffee facilities as part of your hire with us, and if you are hiring during the evenings or weekends, you are welcome to use the dining area and garden areas. However use of the kitchen itself is not normally included in the rate of hire; please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements.
No alcohol can be brought onto the premises or consumed on the premises at any time.
Because Clean Break’s studios are in a residential area, amplified music is allowed only by previous agreement.
The garden and the dining room area are communal spaces to be shared with other people and groups at Clean Break; no group can use either space exclusively.
We’re happy for you to come in 15 minutes in advance of your hire – and you can stay in the building for 15 minutes following your hire as well. Beyond this, we will not be able to let you or your group enter / stay in the building – this is because we hire receptionists specifically for your group’s hire period. If you need extra time to set up the space, please let us know and this will be incorporated into your hire contract and invoice.
Payment in full is to be made in advance of the period of hire. 25% of full amount is due upon receipt of invoice. Please note if you have not paid in full before the period of hire commences, we won’t be able to allow you to access the space.
In the event of cancellation the scale below applies:
Two weeks’ notice or more: 50% cancellation fee.
One weeks’ notice or more: 75% cancellation fee.
Less than one week: 100% cancellation fee.
Please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements. Charities and theatre groups are always eligible for a 10% discount.
Please get in touch and we will discuss options with you.
