Advance are hosting a series of talks, ADVANCETALK about abuse with women survivors, artists and activists, women’s organisations and others, as part of 16 days of activism to end violence against women and girls.
As part of the The London Women’s Services Alliance (LWSA) Clean Break will be joining the discussion to explore how by working directly with women and understanding their lived experiences, we are able to amplify their voices to inform policy and practice that meets their needs.
The London Women’s Services Alliance (LWSA) provides co-ordinated specialist services led by women and for women and girls in contact with the criminal justice system, or at risk of such contact, in London. LWSA is made up of ten organisations in total namely Advance, Birth Companions, Clean Break, Hibiscus Initiatives, Housing For Women, Women in Prison, Working Chance and affiliate members Inspirit, PECAN and SafeGround. The LWSA member organisations recognise the need for a joined-up, gender-informed approach to support services.
