We are delighted to be taking part in the 2021 Big Give Christmas Challenge! The Big Give is the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign. The proposition is simple, every donation that is made to Clean Break during the week of the campaign (30 November - 7 December) will be matched. That means one donation, twice the impact.
We hope to raise £30,000 to support Clean Break’s Members with a programme of theatre activities and wraparound support services for women caught up in the criminal justice system or those who are at risk of entering it.
With our Members still feeling long-term impact of the pandemic very deeply, Clean Break needs your help to better reach and support vulnerable women on their journey from surviving to thriving.
The simplest way to support Clean Break is by making a donation. Any donation, large or small, will make a huge difference to the lives of of our Members and your gift will be doubled.
Pledge your support before the campaign goes live, and we will share the link you need to donate when it opens on 30 November at 12pm.
You could go the extra mile this year and support Clean Break by hosting your own fundraiser, collecting the proceeds and then donating them during the campaign so they are doubled.
From a Coffee Morning to a Santa Run, Christmas Quiz to Open Mic Night, we are looking for people, who believe in our mission as much as we do, to be advocates for Clean Break.
Please register your interest here and we will be in touch to support you on your fundraising journey.
Help raise awareness for the campaign by spreading the word about Clean Break’s impact to your networks. We will be sharing content during campaign week which tell the stories our of Members’ journeys from surviving to thriving.

With front-line services still stretched and an uncertain road ahead, there has never been a greater need for our support. Please stand by us so that women caught up in the criminal justice system, or those at risk of entering it, can experience transformation through theatre and feel supported to rebuild their lives.
"Thank you to all for everything, your support, compassion, respect and kindness. I feel seen, heard, and valued as a woman and as an artist."
