“You’ve seen Orange is the New Black. You’ve seen Locked Up. You’ve seen Bad Girls. So, what have we got that’s different? Well, for one, we’ve been to prison.”
Created by women who aren’t guessing, Inside Bitch is a devised ensemble performance from Clean Break’s Members, a playful subversion of the representation of women in prison and how things aren’t quite as seen on TV.
"We’ve got the real shit, and trust me, it’s dark as fuck, and it will knock your socks off!

In 2019 Jennifer devised and performed in INSIDE BITCH (Royal Court), a playful subversion of the representation of women in prison and how things aren’t quite as seen on TV. Jennifer also worked with Phyllida Lloyd on a series of three Shakespeare productions: THE TEMPEST, HENRY IV and JULIUS CAESAR (Donmar Warehouse). Jennifer’s other credits include roles in Netflix’s TOP BOY Season 2, PATIENTS OF A SAINT, and HONEYTRAP. She is also due to appear in the upcoming feature film I USED TO BE FAMOUS.
TerriAnn most recently devised and performed in INSIDE BITCH (Clean Break/Royal Court, 2019) and was Assistant Director for NOT PRETTY LIKE THE RAINBOW (Clean Break UK tour 2019). Terri Ann has appeared in GRASS and KILLING TIME (BBC, 2004), STEALING LIVES (Channel 4, 2004), RABBIT FEVER (feature film, 2006) and TRAUMA (feature film, 2004).
Lucy is a writer, actor and visual artist. She was recently in Clean Break’s production of [BLANK] at Donmar Warehouse (2019) and devised and performed in INSIDE BITCH (Clean Break/Royal Court, 2018).
